  • Overview

    The Patient Marketing PM/SPM will focus on functional objectives for patient activation and retention strategies.  Empowering appropriate patients to initiate a shared decision making process for their treatment, with their HCPs, and overcoming barriers to therapy trial and usage. This role will lead execution, and track analytics for targeted multi-channel initiatives. This role integrates with the HCP, Advocacy/Med Ed & Payer teams and requires strong matrix collaboration.  Position may be based in Somerset, NJ or Baltimore, MD.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Senior Director of Marketing in completing strategic market planning process and Brand plan
    • Develop and execute Patient Disease State Education campaign, messaging, and tactics, including both personal and non-personal materials
    • Collaborate with Commercial Training & Development to ensure effective, impactful, world class training on product clinical information and promotional tools
    • Coordinate and manage the work of multiple external strategic partners including agency of record and internal departments including marketing, legal, regulatory, medical affairs, payer marketing, corporate compliance, and commercial operations
    • Lead projects through the legal, regulatory, and medical review process
    • Leverage market research insights to develop impactful promotional programs that will reach patients leading to increased brand awareness and prescriptions; Measure promotional program performance to ensure program success and targeted ROI
    • Ensure that budget management is a priority with all projects/budgets within approved limits
    • Manage agencies and external vendors to ensure quality and within cost and timeline
    • Develop metrics to ensure success of marketing tactics

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years of experience in developing, executing, and measuring promotional marketing campaigns across both digital and traditional media outlets to Patient/Consumers
    • Act with a sense of accountability and urgency; the creation and execution of patient materials and successful implementation with the field sales
    • Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills with proven product and project management experience
    • Experience managing and tracking a marketing budget
    • Ability to work cross-functionally, as well as navigate internally for internal review and approvals in order to move projects to completion
    • Ability to understand and interpret market research and turn insights into actionable strategies

     

    Preferences:

     

    • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Advertising
    • Pharmaceuticals sales experience
